VINE OF THE DEAD: 11 RITUAL GESTURES
Vine of the Dead explores the place and meaning of ritual in the 21st century by attempting to communicate across the divide between life and death. In a series of 11 rituals, the performance channels personal experiences of death and transcendence while exploring the spirituality of skepticism. Various site-specific performances tapped into alternate realms of perception and consciousness through a dense visual and sonic landscape.

BOTANICA
Botanica examines our complex and interdependent relationship to plant life. Sealed in a human terrarium, two unorthodox botanists and a caretaker with a penchant for erotic literature unleash a flood of unusual findings and overturn the constraints of science and social norms.

Adapted from letters written to the astronomers of the Mt. Wilson Observatory about the origins of the cosmos and inspired by the films of Buster Keaton.
